We're here to help artists grow. Twisted Things is owned and operated by artists, for artists! Regardless of your art experience, we're here to help you grow. We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about their work and artistic process. Never sold your art before? We’re here for you! You sell online, at art events and other shops? We’re here for you too! When it comes down to it, we’re stronger together!

Welcome to Twisted Things! |
How is Twisted Things different than other shops?Artists at Twisted Things help and learn new crafts from each other. Want to learn 3D printing, Glowforge, glass blowing, electroforming, ceramics, blacksmithing, taxidermy or a wide assortment of other crafts? We have one or more artists excited to help you learn something new and get you started!
You are not required to teach other artists or take/teach classes, we are designed to help you at your own pace. |
Twisted Things is more of an artist
co-op than a store that sells art. We
welcome all types of art that are
possible for us to safely display and sell.
We do not pick and choose from your
artwork, we want what YOU are
passionate about. We do not have a non
compete clause, we want you to make
more sales and grow your business.
Artists are encouraged to attach their
contact info, websites, and social media
to all their products so customers can
contact them directly.
The point of sale system is cloud based,
artists can log into their account from
home to see what's selling and what
their next payout is going to be.
Twisted Things has lawyers, CPAs,
bookkeepers and accountants that help
answer any kind of business question
our artists may have.
Classes
Once it’s safe enough to meet again we
will offer classes again, both for artists
and for customers. We offer business
classes and discussion groups for
artists and we encourage artists to
conduct their own classes about their
artform. Currently we offer one on one
coaching with artists as needed.

We have many talented artists who offer custom work. Twisted Things can be used as a safe place to meet with customers for custom consultations as well as a finished order pick up location. Artists can be paid directly by the customer. The days of meeting at a coffee house or in a parking lot are over.
You are in control of how much money you make! There is a direct correlation between the amount of quality items in stock to the amount of sales an artist makes. Customers enjoy a variety of items to shop and this makes the artist look more 'professional' or 'experienced'. We will stock as much as we can, while not overwhelming the overall feel of the shop. If you have more than we can display at the moment, we can back stock some items and fill the shop as you sell down or you can monitor your sales from home and bring in more items at your convenience.
Why is there a consignment fee? This is a portion of your sales that go to the store to pay towards rent, utilities, improvements, business fees, packaging, displays and business expenses in general. No one makes a paycheck from the store, we are volunteer staffed by artists. The money made goes back into the business so we can better help artists. |
Do you do custom work?We have a basic consignment agreement for you to review and sign to open your account. You can come in to add or restock item s any time we are open. Make an inventory sheet that includes a brief description or item title, the quantity and retail price. If you’re not sure how to price things, no worries, we are here to help with that. As we check in items to the system, we will print off tags for you to affix to your item/tag. We will go ahead and merchandise your artwork around the store for you. If you have specific displays you would like us to use, just label the display so we know who it belongs to. During high volume times, like the holidays, we may have dedicated check in times before/after hours.
